1. There is no one that is pro-war the same way there is no one that is pro-abortion.

4. Come now. You're not getting into the spirit of this.
Life is either black or white. Good or evil.

Why do you hate/not hate America?

something you seem to have over-looked.

3. WTH kind of poll is this?
What campaign promise was broken?

The wording is twisted like a Fox News poll.

5. Is this like when the Anti Abortion crowd labels anyone that feels a woman has a right to choose
is pro-Abortion?

This poll certainly smacks of the sort of simplistic black and white take on a complex issues that you usually associate with the likes of George bush

9. Only when the Generals tell me how the cow ate the cabbage.
And they let me know anytime they get the idea that I might be considering not sending anymore poor kids to die for war profiteers.

10. I am Pro-Reality
The reality of life today is, wars happen. The military option cannot be taken off the table in any negotiating situation.

11. I support wars of necessity...for when we are really, really attacked by foreign powers

I do not support wars of choice...

And, my comment about Obama's Fight Afghanistan right campaign pledge, no one should express surprise or shock. People who want to oppose Obama's Afghan policy should do so, but not feel disappointed that he somehow violated his opposition to war. The only real anti-war candidate on the ballot was Ron Paul.

14. +1
Having my family killed like cattle in concentration camps in WWII makes it morally impossible for me to say war is always wrong.

15. I'm so sorry.
Every time I see pictures or tv shows on WWII and the concentration camps it makes me cry to think how horribly cruel people can be to each other. And war is sometimes the only way to stop that cruelty.

13. I'm "Pro- Depends on the situation".
To say that you're Anti-War at all costs, means that you think we should have just sat by and watched Hitler continue to executed Jews on a daily basis with no intervention. I don't believe that.. sometimes you can not sit by and watch horror happen - as a dignified nation, sometimes we have to intervine.

I haven't made up my mind on Afghanistan. If there is a clear cut plan that lays out a timeline and goals that must be completed by both us, and the Afghani's (and this will secure a better future for women, children and non-violent country men.. i'm for this).

If we're just going over there to continue to "look tough" while pissing away lives & money with no goal or timeline, then I am against it.

I know this isn't a popular opinion here on DU..
