He is such an irritant. I never see him around. Who knows where the guy is? He doesn't appear to give a shit about CT. It's all about HIM on MTP or FTN or some other big show. Dick is a great guy, very liberal. Please god for Dick Blumenthal. He would make a great U.S. Senator, trust me. Great, as in landmark legislation.

Dick has been a terrific consumer advocate in the state. He is everywhere on stuff that concerns everyday people. I think he will do well against Joe, if he runs.

That's my ultracynical answer. He's in bed with corporations. The other dems are in bed with corporations. He allows the party to support corporate interests while dems in liberal areas can safely vote liberal positions (knowing their legislation won't pass).
