My dad is pushing this stupid meme - yeah, by stealing I think the GOP means 'made sure African Americans can vote.'

1. Your average racist.
I'll bet if go to the StormFront or Free Republic websites, you will find the roots of it.

2. Glenn Beck is pushing this meme too though isn't he?
And of course studies have shown Glenn Beck is favored by militant racists two to one!

8. Who are those one out of three militant racists who *aren't* supporting Beck?
Aren't they paying attention?

4. Yes but GOP Creative Writers have been pushing this meme as of late...
And I'm wondering which ones are currently, and who started it...

I know Glenn Beck is pushing it, but for him its all part of the NBC New World Order

5. You're just seeing their 'internal' rhetoric
The smears and vitriol is what you would see in fund raising letters. That's because this is the 'Rump GOP' playing to what's left of their rank and file and their clinging to that base for dear life.

Is that where you go to find out what you should think?" I don't argue with them cuz you get nowhere doing that.

Try it.

7. Poll: Majority Of Republicans Think Obama Didn't Actually Win 2008 Election -- ACORN Stole It!

Poll: Majority Of Republicans Think Obama Didn't Actually Win 2008 Election -- ACORN Stole It!
Eric Kleefeld | November 19, 2009, 12:28PM

The new national poll from Public Policy Polling (D) has an astonishing number about paranoia among the GOP base: Republicans do not think President Obama actually won the 2008 election -- instead, ACORN stole it.

http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2009/11/acorn.html

This number goes a long way towards explaining the anger of the Tea Party crowd. They not only think Obama's agenda is against America, but they don't think he was actually the choice of the American people at all! Interestingly, NY-23 Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman is now accusing ACORN of stealing his race, and Fox News personalities have often speculated about ACORN stealing the 2008 Minnesota Senate race for Al Franken.

The poll asked this question: "Do you think that Barack Obama legitimately won the Presidential election last year, or do you think that ACORN stole it for him?" The overall top-line is legitimately won 62%, ACORN stole it 26%.

Among Republicans, however, only 27% say Obama actually won the race, with 52% -- an outright majority -- saying that ACORN stole it, and 21% are undecided. Among McCain voters, the breakdown is 31%-49%-20%. By comparison, independents weigh in at 72%-18%-10%, and Democrats are 86%-9%-4%.

Probably doesn't make you feel any better.

10. But I don't get it, how would ACORN go about stealing an election. It is irrational
We had a little bit of rationality going for us -- Gore won the popular vote, that butterfly ballot thing, and Supreme Court stopping the Florida recount (which when done later "proved" Gore won Florida.

But ACORN -- how exactly are they supposed to have done it?

11. Well yeah - ACORN and SEIU have less of a budget than the Peace Corps
And these two underfunded groups stole the election? With little influence and little money?

12. That's a pretty absurd premise
How can even the most hardcore Republican not understand that this country legitimately rejected the complete failure of Republican leadership? It wasn't even close. It was not quite a landslide, but the difference was substantial enough that there's no credible grounds to assert that any fraud or funny business changed the outcome. A floor lamp could have beat John McCain in 2008.

Case in point: Sarah Palin
