I read an article that gave his bio and in it there was a clip about him being arrested in Pennsylvania for propositioning a young guy. I don't know if it is true. But the man swears it is in the record and people can see it for themselves. It was rumored that he was gay. And that his trip to PR where he got caught with the viagra was to a resort that had young men. Like I said I saw the articles and did not search to see if they had any validity.

What gets me is that he has downed DR for years and talked about them like they are all criminals and drug lords. I know this not from listening to him but to the people who listen to him and because of my ties to DR. I can think of no reason why HE would be going to DR unless it was for drugs or some other illegal purpose since this is what he has accused them of doing all these years. Surely a good upstanding individual would not vacation in a country that they say is so corrupt.

I would think this might be true also because I have read that DR is one of the countries targeted by pedophiles from the US and other countries. Sad that children trapped in poverty and homelessness are also targets for these predators. :mad:

When he was detained by Customs a few years back for having a bottle of Viagra that was NOT prescribed to him, he was reportedly returning from one of those "gentlemen spas" in the Dominican Republic. One of those resorts most of us couldn't afford (even if we were so inclined) where "gorgeous girls of eastern European descent (read: they hardly speak English and need the money) will cater to your every, and I mean every whim."

Men who are inclined to enjoy such services are (IMO) less likely to have pedophile tendencies. Rush may be just your average, balding, overweight, obscenely rich misogynist. Distasteful? Yes. Immoral? Arguably. Illegal? Well, I guess it depends on where you are and what exactly you're doing.

But (unless he really IS a pedophile, or a sexual abuser armed with loofahs) his crude off the air behavior is of no concern to me.

As I like to tell wingnuts who brag that "20 million Americans listen to Rush every week!", this means that 280 million Americans have the good sense NOT to listen to him.
