1. Virginia Foxx didn't vote for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker.
Heath Shuler did.

Shuler voted for the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. He voted for the Children's Insurance Program. He voted for Solar Energy funding. Virginia Foxx voted against every one of those bill.

Shuler is a blue dog and he votes like one. In other words, he votes the Democratic Party position about 84 percent of the time. Foxx is a rw nutjob who votes the repub line 91 percent of the time.

Do I wish Shuler was more progressive? Of course. Is he more progressive than the repub he replaced? Of course.
