Does Anyone Use Green Dimes Or Another Service To Stop Junk Mail?

i'm just wondering if this works well--we get so much junk mail and i'm curious to see if other people use this type of service and if you've noticed a difference.

1. I use Firefox and the junk mail filters

all the junk mail goes into the junk folder and the real mail is in my inbox. It took some training initially and it requires some manual teaching as junk mail protocols shift, but it's effective enough for me.

Like this box full of crap next to my desk that I don't want and never even open.

Open mail box, sort, dispose. I freaking hate all this crap.

I've never heard of this.

And I get a TON of junk mail. I just can stand those weekly flyers for coupons for thinks I don't need or use. Ditto the Val-Pak shit.

4. We just call each piece of spam mail and keep on doing it

That junk mail which clogs up the mailbox is a pain in the butt. Every single piece we get, we make sure we follow up with calls asking them to stop.

There is satisfaction in calling these guys yourself, but it is nice to know there are people out there willing to do it for you.

5. I encourage it

It takes me all about 2 seconds to get rid of it but it cost the company $.50 to $1.00 per piece they send out. Its a big waste of money.
