I do not think she would be on the View today if she had not been on Survivor. Maybe Barbara Walters picked her because she saw something in her and not because she knew about her appearance on Survivor. Maybe Walters did not know Hasselback was on Survivor before she interviewed her for the View; however, it did come out (that Hasselback had been on Survivor) during the on air interview process.

She didnt open her mouth about Politics, so nobody knew where she stood. She was my second or third favorite person that season. Now she is completely ruined. Her other claim to fame which kept her in the news after Survivor was being the wife to a backup qb for the Washington Redskins Tim Hasselbeck who got to start for five or six games. THe cameras loved to show and talk about her while she was in the stands.
