R0FL-Soon to be Governor Cuomo sends warning to Rudy not to embarrass himself by running
For all intents and purposes.

Here's the link:

Excerpts: Dicker on Cuomo and GiulianiFrom the New York Post:

"Andrew Cuomo has secretly notified Rudy Giuliani that he will run for governor next year."

"The confidential message, conveyed through intermediaries, was delivered to Giuliani recently."

"The message confirms the widespread belief that state Attorney General Cuomo intends to challenge unelected Gov. Paterson in a Democratic primary."

"It was sent as a courtesy... and as a warning that the former presidential candidate would face a brutal and... losing battle against the highly popular attorney general."

"Insiders said Cuomo, while convinced he would win, wants to avoid a costly and exhausting campaign against Giuliani."

"A prominent Democrat with knowledge of the message said he was certain Giuliani would decide not to run."

"Insiders predict Cuomo will wait until after the Jan. 15 campaign-contribution filing period to make his announcement, expecting to be so far ahead of Paterson in fund raising that the governor may be forced to drop out of the race."

1. good move Giuliani chickened out of a fight with Clinton
then decided the sit out the hard part of the Republican campaign. He's not much of an election fighter to this point in his career.

2. Too late, he embarrassed himself by being seen on camera at last night's ball game
He looks so stupid with that smirk he always has on his face.

3. I like the idea that New Yorkers appear inclined to reject Giuliani.
I like that a lot.

Paterson is not a bad guy. There've been some clumsy moves out of his office, but David Paterson is a smart, tough, politician. But I think NY's AG will be sitting in his chair pretty soon here.

The President could possibly avoid a primary battle by offering Paterson a good job in the administration.

As for Rudy, as thick as he seems to be at times, I'm sure his private polling is indicating that against Andrew Cuomo, he's dogfood.
