Don't know about the rest of you but around here saying "your father would be ashamed of you" as an insult will get you a ass beating.

Ron handled it well.

5. Notice a trend?
The wingnuts always seem to be "in-studio" and the rational ones seem to be "via-satellite".
This is a disadvantage, because as the delay is happening, the wingnut keeps talking over the "remote" guest, who gets befuddled by all the yapping in his earpiece..

6. Yeah but Ron didn't let that fly. I don't really like people
to talk over each other, but in this case it was the right thing to do.

7. I agree, but then Ron's time was spent on defense responding to
Gaffney's personal attacks, rather than on what he had planned to say..

8. If I was Ron I would try to get on every show I could
tomorrow. How can people especially republicans insult the son and memory of the great Ronald Regan? He should come out and say how much Obama is like his father and how no republicans can lay claim to his fathers name anymore.

more regularly a while ago. Any reason why they don't have him on as much anymore?

11. Frank Gaffney is just an old hack. He is desperate to hold onto his old status, not tomention
his income!

This guy is a throwback, a retread, to the old days of Republican presidents.

That day has come and gone, Frank. That ship has sailed. That is fini, done, over. finito. You are through. Done. Now, please go away.

Time for the new guy...

16. LoL! Well that explains a lot.
http://pastordan.streetprophets.com/story/2009/6/20/7234/39713

"Do these dudes strike you as part of the "vibrant Judeo-Christian heritage"? Oliver North, Frank Gaffney and Doug Feith. They're the featured guests at an event by the new "Congressional Sovereignty Caucus," which bills itself as opposed to "transnational bodies" that undermine said heritage in America. Let's see, you have there 1) a criminal who both shredded the Constitution and dishonored his uniform, 2) a tinfoil hat birther who thinks Obama is working from a Muslim agenda and will impose on us Sharia law, and 3) the "stupidest f*cking guy on the planet."

A metaphor for the conservative mind Sen. Inhofe (R-OK) turns down personal meeting/courtesy call with Judge Sotomayor.

Quote of the Century

“Millions of our citizens do not have a full measure of opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health care. Millions do not now have protection or security against the economic effects of sickness. The time has arrived for action to help them attain that opportunity and that protection.”

Nope, not Obama. harry Truman, 1945."

17. Smooth Move, Frank...Real Smooth...
It's bad enough this war criminal is given any airtime, but he showed how classless, petty and vindictive his ilk is. He knew he lost the "argument"...how can any with a sense of decency defend slime that not only sent thousands of American troops to a needless death not to count all the Iraqis, Afghanis and others in their "war on Islamofascism". The only place he should be appearing is in the dock in the Hague.

Guess the rushpublicans don't need the "Raygun Democrats" or the "moderates" anymore. This wasn't just insulting Ron...who I'm sure has his own misgivings over what his father did and the people he associated with, but to a lot of rushpublicans who saw the "Unitary Executive" as destructive as we did. You don't get a 20% "popularity" rating by alienating Democrats alone.

Edited on Thu Oct-22-09 07:38 PM by EmeraldCityGrl
at least that's what I read today. I can't believe these people are still around spewing their poison and attempting to
sway public opinion. MSNBC after today should never allow this guy on air again.
