Anchor apologizes for calling Kerik ‘top cock’ on air
Only Judith Regan and Mrs. Kerik might know for sure.

"WABC 'Eyewitness News' viewers were all atwitter Tuesday night over Bill Ritter's accidental, off-color description of Bernard Kerik," New York's Daily News reports.

Instead of calling him a former "top cop," the anchor accidentally referred to him as "top cock."

Huffington Post notes that Ritter "quickly corrected himself after the curse, but in the age of YouTube and TIVO, the damage was already done."
