Bush is drunk!
Seriously, I'm watching the VT Convocation and it sounds like he's drunk as a skunk! Anybody else notice that?

6. Glad I'm not the only one.
I was shocked when he started speaking. He was slurring his words, even more than usual, and using that really slow speech that drunks use when they are trying not to sound drunk. Unfuckingbelievable!

15. Pam...that's what I was thinking. He is talking really slowly and
trying not to sound drunk. (Been there, done that) LOL!

16. Been there, too, lol...
maybe that's why I thought it was so noticeable. I was surprised when I came to DU today that more people weren't talking about it. I guess everyone's so used to him slurring his words but this was kind of different. He seemed to be trying hard not to slur. Just like a drunk.

8. I'm not sure...
I try to avoid listening to him at all costs these days, but the last time I sat down and listened to him speak was the State of the Union and I don't really remember hearing that then, I could be wrong though... he did however have a serious lisp going on today

11. Definitely worse than usual.
At first I dismissed it as his usual speech patterns but it started to sound like one of those clips from the Craig Ferguson show.

7. That's probably the worst I've heard him
Probably a combination of over-coached fake empathy and perhaps Jack Daniels, Ambien, or something else.

13. Yep, Jack Daniels and Ambien.
Or JD and some of Laura's Xanax. But he was definitely on something.

25. Halothane, straight-up.
Anaesthesiologists used to use drops of it mixed with plenty of O2 to put people under.
Before they conk out, people hear crickets. When they wake up, people would immediately want more gas.
A completely incapacitating agent today replaced by other substances, Condescenda would certainly know a dealer.

14. OMG! Watching him now on C-Span site. He is totally smashed.
Does the letter "S" give people problems when they have had too much to drink? Uh, yeah.

How about when he says ".....baTpacks?"

Unbelievable! I thought this was exaggerated....it's not. He is SO wasted.

17. Glad you saw it.
There is something about seeing it in its entirety. I think a lot of people thought I was just doing standard Bush bashing but I really, really thought he seemed drunk.

20. C-Span has the whole ceremony.
Bush starts talking (slurring) about 15-20 minutes into it. I'll try to see if I can find a clip of just his speech but so far I've only found it on C-Span. Here's the C-Span link. http://www.c-span.org/

Yes, he does get worse and worse. I bet a bunch of MSM folks know he's drinking and are keeping it quiet. Bunch of enablers.

21. Brian Williams conducted an "interview" with him on tonight's news and
he slurred and stammered some fucking nonsense while Pickles gazed upon him adoringly.

He also said he wanted to help the students with their grievin'. :eyes:

I thought about emailing Brian Williams and asking him if he smelled alcohol on Bush's breath.
