Andy Williams accuses Barack Obama of following Marxist theory

Andy Williams, the veteran pop singer, has accused Barack Obama of "following Marxist theory" and "wanting the country to fail".

Williams, a lifelong Republican whose hits include Moon River and Music To Watch Girls By, told the Radio Times he thought Mr Obama wanted to turn the US into a "socialist country".

He was in the Ambassador Hotel when Kennedy was shot, and he was on the plane that took the body back to NY. In addition, he sang "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" at the funeral. Williams also sang at Michael Kennedy's funeral.

He was always registered as a Republican. He liked Teddy. I think he overlooked the obvious views his friends espoused. Williams seems to have swallowed all the anti-Obama rhetoric, and his connection to Democrats was strictly related to one family it seems.
