New Yorker Story On Innocent Killed By Death Penalty: "Trial By Fire" - Must Read....

A wonderful, sad story. It's fairly long, but any with the capacity for an extended story are in for a treat. A sad treat, but a treat nonetheless.

The fire moved quickly through the house, a one-story wood-frame structure in a working-class neighborhood of Corsicana, in northeast Texas. 1. Great read. Unbelievable tragedy upon tragedy.
At the end when Willingham confesses he never entered the children's room, you just know this poor man beat himself up over this
during all those years.

In cases where the science used to convict is not fully evolved, there should never be a death sentence allowed.Technology can change within the
span of a lifetime as this case tragically proves.

2. Shameless self-kick just because I can. And it's a worthwhile story.
