How to say "ho" and get away with it.
Get a job as Santa Claus and constantly say "ho ho ho".

Go to the grocery store and ask for "ho hos"

Go to Lowes and ask for a "ho(e) and a shovel".

Be a rapper.

Be the white guy that pays rappers to say it and sing along during the playback.

Be Rush Limbaugh - your freepy audience really really likes it when you say "ho".

Be any newscaster in America during the last week and constantly quote someone, anyone else using the word "ho".

Add your own.........

9. i heard about that

"(August 13, 1930 – April 14, 2007) was a Hawaiian musician and entertainer. Ho, of mixed Chinese, Hawaiian, Portuguese, Dutch, and German descent, was born in the small Honolulu neighborhood of Kakaʻako, but he grew up in Kāneʻohe on the windward side of the island of Oʻahu. In 1954 Ho entered the United States Air Force and spent time flying fighter jets in both Texas and Hawaii. Ho left the Air Force in 1960 due to his mother's illness. In 1962, he moved from Kāneʻohe to Waikīkī in Honolulu and played at a night club called Duke's, where he caught the attention of record company officials."

26. Don Ho was a great entertainer
He was a decent singer and a funny, funny man. Anyone I've ever met who's seen a Don Ho concert reports that he held his entire audience in the palm of his hand.

I think it's poetic justice that Don would die at this particular time. He brought respectability back to being a "Ho", at a time when it was desperately needed. Hell, as whacky a guy as Don Ho was, he probably even planned it that way.

21. The Doors' song
"Land Ho!"

Grandma love a sailor who sailed the frozen sea.
Grandpa was a whaler And he took me on his knee.
He said, "Son, I'm going crazy From livin' on the land.
Got to find my shipmates And walk on foreign sands."

This old man was graceful With silver in his smile.
He smoked a briar pipe and He walked four country miles.
Singing songs of shady sisters And old time liberty.
Songs of love and songs of death And songs to set men free.

Yea! I've got three ships and sixteen men, A course for ports unread.
I'll stand at mast, let north winds blow Till half of us are dead.

Land ho!

Well, if I get my hands on a dollar bill, Gonna buy a bottle and drink my fill.
If I get my hands on a number five, Gonna skin that litlle girl alive.
If I get my hand on a number two, Come back home and marry you, marry you, marry you. Alright!

Land ho!

27. Can I just refuse to say "ho"?
Is that an option? Like, maybe I can simply choose not to parrot every would-be modern "hipster" nor their "jive"? If I choose to call someone a "media whore", for instance, it should be understood exactly what I mean and it should be understood that I chose that term carefully. I see no reason to chase after the capricious media trendsetters in order to feel relevent in the ever-shifting culture-dollar landscape.
