Just Watched "Man of the Year" & It Really Brought Me Down
ah yes, robin williams, a fun movie about elections (i thought)

"comedy superstar robin williams ... plays tom dobbs, a comedian who made it to the top by telling it like it is. when he decides to run for president to unleash his trademark comic rants on the powers that be, something extraordinary happens--he wins! from the director of good morning vietnam and wag the dog comes an irreverent comedy hit with a hilarious all-star cast that is sure to win your vote for best comedy of the year!"

i guess i didn't realize the statement this film makes about voting machines. and apparently i just have no sense of humor regarding electronic voting machines tonight.

3. I hear ya
I haven't seen it yet, but I'm very sensitive about voting machines too. I will be 90 years old and I will still have a chip on my shoulder about the 2004 election.

5. True vote counts were disposed of in 2000.
Unfortunately, we didn't step up to counter it in 2004. What will happen in 2008?

7. 2002 was the year that they really fucked us.
But yeah, I agree 2000 was the start of the coup.

Then 2002

2004

and even 2006

Hopefully, even with Rove's maneuvering with the USA's we smarten up.

And we better do it fast.

They have placed operatives in every state that will be in play.

I doubt that it will be corrected in time for the election.

Not scared yet?

They just placed the Election Commissioner from Ohio who resigned, to San Diego. They are planning on kinking the election here in California. Now, I don't know if that is for the primary (which is my suspicion) or the general. Either way I am uncomfortable.

The special election was never resolved here in North San Diego County when Busby was running against whatever the hell his name was. The election was certified by the House of Reps overriding the State. This was in direct violation of election law here in California. There were court battles and recounts, however the slimeball is sitting in Congress as we speak.

I am a believer that California is expected to have an impact on the primaries. And the left does NOT want Hillary.

6. In 2008
Howard Dean will have been party chairman for years.

I can tell you that he is paying a LOT of attention to the matter of
electronic voting machines, as in a WHOLE lot. This is straight from
Howard, not speculation on my part. They know by now what a difference
can be made.

No more "surely they wouldn't." Now it's "surely they did!"
