Russert questioned Huckabee about a paroled rapist...
He had assisted in getting out of prison and the guy then went to another state and raped and murdered again. It was shades of Michael Dukakis and the Willie Horton issue that Bush Sr used against him to defeat him in 1988. This is a story we will hear more about if Huckabee gains in the polls.

1. Yep sounds like Huckabee has his own Willie Horton
among the many other problems he poses. Russert actually pressed him on his opinions about gays, and Huckabee danced fast but awkwardly. I don't see him (Huckabee) as much of a threat. He'll draw some fundies but that's about it.

2. But, but, but, it was all Clinton's fault! & Tucker!
They appointed all the members on the parole board! How could any one possibly hold huck-a-chuck responsible? :sarcasm:

7. Yea, but he blamed it on Clinton!
My jaw hit the floor when he said that! He blamed it on a buy who was Governor 10 years before him.

He's sunk. But, not because of this. Rather, his statements about winning this country back for Christians will sink him. This isn't a holy war. It's our democracy.
