4. It's obvious the people in the Obama crowd are glad to be there.

The TeaBaggers all look like they would rather be anywhere else.

The kids in the TeaBagger pics even look scared.

6. I just got back from the Obama Rally
It was amazing. The Target Center seats about 20,500 for a basketball game and all but about 1/3 of the nose bleeds were packed. There was also about 500 people on the floor. If I had to guess I would say there was about 19,000 people there not including the pro-reformers on the outside with signs which numbered about 100 or so.

There didn't appear to be any anti-reformers on the inside, but there were probably 30-40 on the outside with their typically "Obama's a socialist" and "Obama-Care makes me sick signs". There were no racially charged signs or Obama Hitler mustache signs that I saw. I think Bachmann had a rally today up north of the cities so the real nut jobs were probably there.

I was amazed at the energy in the room. There were several standing ovations and cheering so loud that President Obama could not be heard over it. If there were any anti-reformers in the stadium they were completely drowned out by the pro-reformers. I did hear one commotion and a bunch on people that seemed to be shouting one person down, but I wasn't close enough to hear what was going on.

It seemed more like a campaign rally than a government policy rally. People were do the wave and shouting "O-ba-ma, O-ba-man" and "Yes we can". The crowd was proportionately split between the age groups. It was really a lot of fun and the people were all energized.

After the event as the crowd exited the stadium the marched toward the anti-reform group (because that's the way foot traffic was forming) and yelled "Fired up, ready to go!" It was just a little intimidating I'm sure but was all done in Minnesota nice fashion.

All in all it was a great time. I saw a couple of women trying to sway an anti-reformer women and didn't get very far. After they were done she walked over and stood next to me as if I was going to sympathize and wiggled her finger in her ear and said "my ears hurt". I turned to her and calmly said "they ought to". She decided it wasn't friendly territory and promptly walked away.

I got a bunch of pictures but have to figure out if they turned out and if I'm smart enough to download them.

8. Good speech.

The difference between Obama and Shit-for-Brains is 180 degrees.
