3. Seriously: you would have to pay me to meet with Palin
I wouldn't pay a plug nickel to listen to her babble and ruin an otherwise perfectly good meal.

24. Which made it all the more embarrassing
when a friend who collects a comics-related character found out he was bidding against another friend who was trying to buy it as a present for friend 1.

12. I saw Keith pull out his computer and bid on it
and say that his "bid" came back with a note that it was "pending approval". And he made a joke about that.

So KO and two others have bid. It would be great fun to mess with Palin's feeble mind over a 5 course meal, but you'd have to be a person of great staminia and determination, or have good enough health care coverage that your therapy would be covered for your PTSD symptoms following said dinner.

16. They better read the fine print. The contract says the winner has to provide/pay for the meal
Edited on Thu Sep-10-09 10:40 AM by Mike Daniels
So, not only do you pay for the "honor" of dining with Sarah you also have to buy her dinner.

Only a fool would subscribe to that arrangement and it appears the number of fools is up to three.

Beck is probably the third.

25. Rich Lowry--the journalist who apparently masturbated to Palin's speeches
is probably one of those bidders.

Remember, he's the guy who had the 'starbursts' and 'sat up straight on the couch' listening to Sarah.

One of the funniest Countdown clips, EVAH!!!!

21. You realize this could be fun...
Just think: you and four other liberals tearing Sarah Palin and her three dinner guests a new asshole for two hours. This can be yours for the low, low price of only $10,000 apiece.

23. The Rude Pundit sums her up...
Sarah Palin's role in the world right now is to have her face photoshopped onto pictures of spread-eagled, nude MILFs, with the images emailed around the dorms of Dartmouth or Pepperdine so that she provides fresh spanking material for young conservatives who just want to jack their spunk onto her glasses. It puts her in the pecking order of usefulness somewhere between tribute bands and moon shoes.
