1. Quite understandable
Anything beginning with the letter S is obviously condiderably more importnt than anything beginning with C.

2. It would help if the wing nuts had a little bit of fear of Capitalism
Because while that dog may look friendly it sure can bite.

4. So long as the left continues to allow the right to define what the center is,
you're right. Once the left grows some balls and starts defining the right as radical and kooky and starts moving the center again, moderationism will look less bad.

6. Rushpublicans = The Party Of Fear
You missed the A-rabs in the middle. The GOOP doesn't do well without fear and/or hatred. They need boogiemen and preferable those that speak with a strange accent or "look funny". It's creating cartoon images of these enemies and phobias and building on them. It's creating a broadbrush that is used to sweep up anyone who TPTB think are a threat to their status quo and to create simple labels to stick on them. Always one dimensional but for those who buy the story, it's very compelling. You can just add fear upon fear and all it takes is invoking past cartoons and slogans.

To the right, Communism and Socialism are one and the same...words thrown around with little understanding and in context of black and white world. It leads to the morons to scream how they don't want the government messing with their Medicare or the "govermint living my life". Totally distorted and full of contradictions, but for simple minds, cartoons are always easier to watch.

7. Coming from South Africa,
We always were warned about the RED Danger.

It was Communism, I never could understand why were were warned while we had APARTHEID.

Now I am here and it is Socialism.

It never ends.
