Fellow DUers. How long have we been asking for an Emergeny Preparedness Forum?

6. A long time

and I have no idea why we can't have one. We have jumped thru all the hoops I think in previous attempts.
Here we are in the beginning stages of a pandemic and it is hurricane season to boot not to mention fires out west. It would be a good thing.

7. I think it would be a great idea.

Pinned threads for disaster specific things, as in Earthquake, flood, fire, ice storm.

Then threads for people in disaster areas to check in and get and give advice.

It might be a nut magnet, but I could moderate, having many of those kinds of nuts in my family.

14. As much fun as they are, there's more to EP than beans.

Besides the natural disasters there are the chemical and radiological material releases. I haven't had a good discussion about hazardous material release and dispersion analysis since I retired. An EP forum could be very informative.
