Most have probably noticed this, but others seem to be getting misled by the deception.

They don't mention their stooges in their hate radio and TV propaganda operations, where the viciousness, bigotry, and vile characterizations are far more extreme.

Instead they the turn an element in the class war, where social justice and the common well-being is the issue, into a wedge dividing the people along race lines. They do this by indicating that the nasty Rap subculture is a cause of that incident, or at least that it as bad as Imus and should be the appropriate target for any further action, and they characterize Sharpton and Jackson in ways that are intended to diminish them.

Clever work. I guess that's why the get the big bucks.

1. Your analysis assumes that the corporate and the conservative
Media worked in tandem - the Limbaughs and the Courics are singing from the same hymnal. While there are many here who believe that I don't think it's borne out by the facts.

4. Not an assumption.
It is a contractual relationship. The pigman and his like are paid well fore what they do, because of what they do.

2. Uh, better question. Why should we care?
Seriously, if they're spinning for their own purposes, well, people and corps are selfish and act in their perceived best interests; nothing new there. So er.. why are people obsessing about it? Great, Imus got his. The others aren't and are not likely to. Why dwell? I don't get it. If people are bothered that there's too much discussion or talk about Imus, why talk about it then and perpetuate it? I dunno. See everyone on other threads and topics...

8. Their stratgy of "Distort, Divert, and Divide"
seems particularly transparent in this case. But still a lot of people are getting led around like sheep and siding with their mis-leaders.
