Not a Kennedy post... Are people listening to Sibel Edmonds Deposition???? Explosive world changing.

PLEASE put your grief aside as soon as you can over all the recent deaths, and go to:http://www.bradblog.com/?p=7374 and for the first time ever Sibel Edmonds names names. We have treason going on in the biggest and boldest way possible and no one is paying attention. Spread it!
4. The videos have been posted for a couple of days
It's hard to believe that this isn't getting more attention. They are spell-binding. Our national security is like swiss cheese. The level of corruption and foreign infiltration in high places is frightening.
13. Wow I have to listen to the rest tomorrow. Sibel is one smart and cool lady.
I am listening to the opposing Lawyer ask about her background and she is only more impressive. I guess he hasn't read enough Bugliosi books. You don't ask a question if you don't know what the response will be.
already knew some of the info and could be incriminated either directly or indirectly if they got involved. It appears these people are very proficient at blackmail and have infiltrated every branch of government.
Very well worth watching the entire deposition, particularly the redirect by Krikorian's attorney. She speaks very fluidly and confidently when not having to negotiate around Schmidt's attorney's cross examination bullshit. When allowed to speak, she speaks with the confidence that someone telling the truth has.
Again, this should be major news considering the allegations she makes, and those allegations should be investigated and prosecuted. If those go unchallenged and unreported, I think it's safe to say it's because those named would rather take their chances with the allegations just "going away" on their own.
Huffpost, FDL, TPM, DKos, none of these sites are giving her deposition any play. I have heard bmaz and emptywheel over at FDL give up the "this is old news" excuse... as well as the "she's just unreliable" canard.
I wish i knew why she never gets taken seriously. Is it because she's pretty?
45. Is it because the media generally require two sources?
I'm just guessing. It seems like at least a portion of this could be independently verified and published, which could give an excuse to hint at the rest ("one source says...", etc.).
If verification is the reason, it might be because these allegations are difficult to verify or prove -- although Sibel has been very specific. My guess is that the outlets you named are working on it.
My money's on Josh Marshall to be the next to run with this story, but it wouldn't hurt to write all of the above.
30. I saw the first video and plan on watching the rest tonight.
After watching the first video my mind was blown. It makes me wonder how much more of this kind of illegal activity goes on in our government. She was just one translator listening to primarily Turkish organizations. I wonder what other foreign countries by out our politicians and how many more have sold out to foreign interest. Talk about corruption, holly molly.
40. I am floored -- not so much by the deposition, but by the fact that
there is not a mention of this in the mainstream media. And then everyone wonders why newspapers are having trouble staying afload. Maybe it's because they're too busy covering celebrity gossip instead of actual news.
63. Yes, Chuck Todd explained it all on the Bill Maher show
to, of all people, Jeremy Scahill. The reason why the MSM doesn't do real news, like cover the Blackwater story in detail eg.
And then, he later proved his point by getting upset over a possible 'hit' to his own 'reputation' by Scahill, which as we all know, is of the utmost importance.
To cover a story like this could be career-ending. They all saw what happened to Dan Rather. It was an excellent lesson to the 'stenographer class' not to step out of line. Just smile and read the memos and you'll all be fine.
He has been prominent in 9/11 issues 10 Downing street etc. I have seen him on panels with, the likes of Paul Krugman, Webster Tarpley, other very left anti war people. I'm shocked to hear that he represents the Turkish Defense Fund.
It is rare this much is allowed out in the general public. Props to President Obama's Justice Department for not attempting to step in and stop her deposition. The stuff she put on record, and her rock-solid credentials, make for what should be the story of the decade, if not longer.
Sooner or later, the Justice Department will have to prosecute SOMEBODY.
Watched the movie "A Few Good Men" again last night. They made a big, hairy deal about Col. Jessup ordering a "Code Red." I kept thinking, "That is such small potatoes compared to what has happened since."
96. For those having problems with the VMEO links try the original video links...

They are on this page at the bottom where the article ends along with the PDF link there. they are in Acrobat Flash format, which for in-line players are a pain without pause and fast forward/rewind features, but at least you can play through them OK.
It goes alot faster, and I can bypass all of Fein's objections. I have no idea why a guy like Fein who was so worried about the constitution under Bush would be acting this way.
Anyway, I'm on page 80 and so far nothing truly new so far (to me). She has talked about bribery, sexual blackmail, infiltration of the FBI, espionage, US politicians giving info to Turkey, etc. But that is all stuff I've heard before from Edmonds.
Nonetheless, the fact that the ex-speaker of the house (Hastert) took bribes and may have been sexually blackmailed should be news. It isn't though.
" She came to my house with 13 her husband, who at the time was Major Douglas 14 Dickerson, and he identified himself first as 15 the officer for Air Force, but later said that 16 his real task was operations involving records 17 procurements by countries in Central Asia and 18 Turkey, and that he directly worked with 19 Douglas Feith and Paul Wolfowitz. "
I read the full transcript; talk about shock and awe. This is only ONE country and not even a national security issue (armenian genocide, as sad as that is in and of itself)! These pols talk to us on their high moral horses then turn around and make these backroom deals. This made me very, very sad. No wonder greedy capitalists see it fit to operate under our system of government. Life in these United States is truly about the almighty dollar, and whatever it can buy.
