The kennedy's vs. the creeps
Edited on Wed Aug-26-09 11:24 AM by wilt the stilt
I was watching Brian Williams say that the Kennedy's were the first family of poltictc and it made me think of the Bush's because they are the most powerful family of the repubs. What a difference. The Kennedy's- a family who thought of the disadvantaged and the discriminated against and worked for those people everyday they breathed.
Then there are the Bush's who worked for themselves, the upper classes and the advantaged.

How proud to be a Kennedy lover. I bought my mother a record of John Kennedy's inauguration speech in 1961. I will never forget the Kennedy's.

1. And boy could they make great, inspiring speeches!
Remember this line from Ted Kennedy's eulogy
of brother Bobby?

"Some men see things as they are and say why.
I dream things that never were and say why not."

It's from George Bernard Shaw's play, Back to Methuslah.

Magnificent.

4. The entire Bush extended family isn't worth one Kennedy.

6. The contrast couldn't be more clearer.
One family of wealth dedicated to public service and the greater good....the other family of wealth dedicated to getting wealthier at the expense of the rest.
