Where Were These People The Last 8 Years?.........

Listening to the McCain Town Hall makes one wonder - where were these people the last 8 years? They are questioning their freedoms being taken away. They are talking about 'going against the Constitution'.

I sit back here watching and say - why weren't they up in arms during BushCo - when all their rights were being eroded and the Constitution being shredded.

Bottom line - we have to acknowledge that Fox News is doing their job. They pacified these people during BushCo and sold them on patriotism, fear and hate.

Fox News is at it again right now by spawning lies, inciting racism and still creating fear and hate.

They are accomplishing what they intend to do - and we seem to be sitting back and letting it happen all over again.

I can't put all the blame on Fox - cause the other cable channels contribute as well.

It just doesn't seem like we are fighting back.

We don't have to lie - we can create fear in the minds of Americans by telling the truth - but it just isn't happening and - boy - it's frustrating.

I want to tell them it's too late - they should read the Patriot Act and realize they lost many of their freedoms in 2001 -

Almost without exception, they're totally deluded ... since they're told it's the "other person" (often not white) being taken care of.
