David Gregory is much better in my opinion as an anchor for Nightly News than as host of "MTP".....Can't stand Brain Williams...

Should have named Gregory the weeknight host, & kept John Siegnethaler for weekends...

As far as "MTP", even though he never shuts up, Chris Matthews probably would have been better...

Rachel Maddow has the ability and the will to ask the difficult questions, the persistence to keep asking them until she gets a satisfactory answer, and the class and grace to keep a smile on her face while she does it. She is truly a professional journalist, not a corporate brownnoser like Gregory, Todd, Williams and for the most part Matthews.

She'd set the standard way too high for those eunuchs to deal with. She would show them up for the shills they are. Plus she would piss off the fat cats that rub elbows with the high muckety mucks at GE. Tom Brokaw would have a hissy fit.
