I'm calling you out Mr. President
I can't keep this inside of me much longer. I'm just flat out angry. Mr. President, I gave you my last 50.00 when I could have brought food for myself or my roommate, or I could have gone out on the town, or I could have paid down a bill that needs to be paid.

But I gave you money with the hope that you would go to Washington with this mandate that you would right all the wrongs that have been done to this country. Instead, your whining about bi-partnership. I'm so god damn frustrated at you right now Mr. President. Why the hell do we have a 60 vote majority and you can't get shit done. What the hell is wrong with you?

I heard that you are a Chicago Politician. I've heard that Chicago politicians are so tough that they don't take shit from anyone. You know what, if this is Chicago Politics, no offense to anyone who is from Chicago, but I'm not impressed.

I am loyal to a point Mr. President, but at this stage in the game, I'm really afraid that your people are fucking up things. You need to replace Linda Douglas and send someone out with "balls" to stay on message. You need to have someone sit Kent Conrad down and set his ass straight. I'm telling you right now, you are loosing your base. Hell, you're loosing me. When the hell are you going to start acting like the god damn President of the United States and not a United States Senator. GUESS WHAT, YOUR NOT IN THE SENATE ANYMORE, BEHAVE LIKE IT!!!!!

1. the campaign is over
I think that Pres. Obama needs to quit talking about "during my campaign" and get with it and start doing the things he promised he would do. He has that mandate which is not so easy to get.

Change you can believe in I ask? :grr:

7. What he needs to do
is paint the republicans as the ones in the way, that way we can get more liberal democrats in office. I'd love to get rid of a few blue dogs too.

8. I donated more money in 2008 then I had in all previous years combined.
Which isn't much compared to an insurance company, but it was a lot to me. It was also more than I had on one occasion, it went on a credit card.

Between disappointments in the Congress and the President, and some of the off the wall shit I encounter amongst "my own" here, I'm feeling a bit displaced.

They say that Ronald Reagan got what he wanted by demanding it, and then expecting it. I'd like to see some of that in President Obama. I'd like to see Congressmen toeing the line and people like Rush Limbaugh jumping up and down and screaming because the president is wielding power. Tell Max Baucus to stop whoring himself to insurance companies. Tell Evan Bayh to stop renting his wife out to medical corporations.

18. And LBJ did a lot of literal "arm-twisting," close-up personal persuading.
I thought that was what Rahm would be doing...

21. No Argument Here
Barack, seriously, the Republicans didn't elect you. They have scared the hell out of America to the point that you MUST, I repeat MUST, hit these motherfuckers like all hell coming down on them. You brought a scalpel, they brought AR-15s. OK, fine. Next time you come, bring USS Missouri and blow them to fucking pieces. If you want this reform to pass, tell the Blue Dogs to shut up, and get the real Dems to get out there and make their case to the people of this country, as to why we NEED healthcare reform. And we don't need to give any more fucking money to the pigs who run the health insurance companies.
