ABOUT BILL AYERS

"Professor Bill Ayers has been an activist, educator and academic for many years. As a long time activist he has incorporated a wide range of methods to work for social justice. Whether he’s taking it to the streets or the classrooms, to policymakers or to publishers, he’s been raising his voice to fight war, racism, corruption, greed, injustice, exploitation and violence in our institutions, our nation, and the world.

Bill Ayers will speak at this year's Brewing Peace fundraiser about
grassroots organizing tactics, based on the trials and errors of his
activist experiences. He will specifically focus on organizing tactics
in the post-Bush era, and how we can evaluate their effectiveness as a
community of progressive activists. Bill's talk will be followed by a
discussion and action on how we can apply these tactics in our local
community."

1. I love this line:
"As a long time activist he has incorporated a wide range of methods to work for social justice."

Ahem, yes, you could say that.
