28. A couple of weeks ago Imus was out for the day and BD was a guest.

A middle eastern man called in to ask a question and Dietl literally went wild. Wouldn't let him talk, called him horrible names, accused him of everything under the sun (the guy hadn't said anything at all, other than he was an Iranian). Sidekick Charles was groaning and muttering something about this probably causing an international incident.

I was certain that there would be some repercussions following that episode, but...crickets...

One of Imus' greatest downfalls was the creepy guys he surrounded himself with; and the worst one was his producer Bernard who often went out of his way to be offensive and hurtful and ugly.
