Cops: Mortar Launchers Found In Home
Traffic Stop In Poinciana Leads To Weapons, Marijuana Discovery

POINCIANA, Fla. -- A traffic stop on Saturday led Osceola County sheriff's deputies to a home with a hidden closet that contained three mortar launchers, several mortar shells -- one of which had a live charge in it -- three improvised explosive devices and other weapons.

William Scott Clark, 43, was arrested on charges making or attempting to make a destructive device, production of marijuana and possession of marijuana.

According to deputies, a fully automatic MAC-11 submachine gun, timing fuses, a binary explosive compound and numerous other high powered semiautomatic weapons were also found at the home.

Deputies said a man and woman were pulled over in Poinciana Saturday morning and a marijuana plant was found inside the vehicle. The occupants, Jett Thomas Cramer and Gayle Justice, told deputies that the plant came from their home, located at 103 Nicholas Court in Poinciana.

Deputies obtained a search warrant for the residence and located only one marijuana plant but also discovered the hidden closet in the master bedroom behind a mirror, according to the sheriff's office.

3. I could make a "morter launcher" from stuff at any hardware store for less than $20
Edited on Tue Aug-11-09 09:27 AM by ThomWV
Its a tube with a pin at the bottom securly attached to a solid base. I could go into any Lowe's or Home Depot and pick up enough material to make one for less than $20 and it wouldn't take over an hour to assemble it.

4. Would you be asserting your so-called right to bear arms by doing it?

5. Could you make the live ordnance as well?
This was obviously not a 'do it yourself' kit. LIVE mortar rounds.

Why the fuck would you try to diminish this?

10. Yeah, I probably could if I set my mind to it
But to answer your other question, I diminish it because it is a particularly meaningless post that is indicitave of nothing other than that there are people in Florida who collect strange things - oh, and smoke some pot too.

13. Collect strange things:

a fully automatic MAC-11 submachine gun, timing fuses, a binary explosive compound and numerous other high powered semiautomatic weapons

This ain't a fucking butterfly collection.

Military ordnance, full-auto weapons, explosives - ALL ILLEGAL.

I mean, WHAT THE FUCK?
