6. On a serious note, I do think racism enters into this--

My white, fundie, backwoods, conservative relatives are up in arms because some of their tax dollars might be used to provide healthcare options to people of color in (gasp) urban areas.

They are racist to the core and healthcare reform has sent them over the edge.
