Levin and Hannity: Obama is Responsible for Anything that Happens in these Town Hall Meetings
Edited on Sat Aug-08-09 12:35 AM by Emit
"Conservative radio host and best selling author Mark Levin told Sean Hannity tonight that if something happens to one of these tea party protesters at a rally then the White House is partly responsible..."

http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/08/mark-levin-on-obamacare-rallies-if.html

This is classic right wing authoritarian thinking - Setting Obama and the White House up in advance to take the blame for any increasing agitation, conflict or violence at these town hall meetings - while conveniently excusing their own participation and responsibility in agitating and encouraging their viewers.

(On edit, I apologize once again for the link site - however, if we really want to know where this is going, I suggest we visit them often.)

7. Uh huh
Let's see how much these conservatives support "law enforcement" when a cop drags an unruly teabagger out of the hall an tases him in the nuts.

Conservatives love the cops when they are arresting black professors or slamming young black men into the hood of a police car.

8. They are doing a CYA maneuver
They know violence is inevitable, so they are trying to avoid responsibility while still engaging in misinformation and inflammatory rhetoric that they deep down inside know is going to incite violence and rioting. Must be nice to be rich and famous. I couldn't get away with that.

9. They know theyhave incited these nuts to be oout of control
They know what is likely to happen and are getting their talking points together right now. They need to be called out every time a Dem gets a chance to talk on radio or TV or at a town hall meeting. Dems need to take control of the discussion on all levels and never yield...talk over them at every point like Chris Matthews does all of his guests...be rude, crude and loud! That's how the RW has done it all along. That's how they have won before. That is, until the last election in which a cool-headed, fearless, smart-ass, "community organizer" ran for office and spoke directly to the people at every level. Now the community organizer needs his supporters to show up, step up, and make the wingnuts shut up!

11. I'm not sure that getting in their face is necessarily the way to go, because it can lead to
escalated violence. But there are a myriad of other tactics to take - being cool-headed is a good example to follow. Sometimes letting these folks talk is one way to diffuse the situation. Asking them "What is your complaint?" and letting them try to explain themselves would likely calm things down, because at this stage, they are being encouraged to shout out simple slogans, interrupt and get the speakers off balance. By asking them to elaborate on their concerns and to actually have a discussion, they might be made to see some of the insanity of their thinking. Or not, lol. But, it's better than egging them on and potentially having things get out of hand, imho.

12. No he's not..fucktards that incite the mobs to
hate are responsible and anyone who says differently is responsible.

Fuckers are whiners, bullies, victims, and irresposible but that doesn't mean they're not going to get charged with it.
