I thought I would share this online site with you. I am keeping up to date on my cousin's battle with bacterial meningitis through her daughters' posts.

A friend or family member can sign up for email alerts when updates are posted to the journal. Also, there is a message board for online visitors to leave a note for the patient.

It's free, and a really good way to keep loved ones clued in without having to make umpteen phone calls.

My family has been using a CaringBridge site to communicate information about my mother's cancer treatment to other family and friends. It has been wonderful.
