John Bolton can go fuck himself.
So he's pissed off that Bill Clinton traveled to North Korea to secure the release of the two journalists? He would rather take a "tough" approach, see them languish, possibly die, in a North Korean labor camp, than use diplomacy? This is a man to whom the word diplomacy means weakness. Thank god that this man was not in charge of our foreign policy during the * administration - Bolton's warmongering appetite makes Cheney look like a pacifist. I have no doubts that if Bolton had his way, we'd be at war in North Korea, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, and probably a few other places as well - in short, we'd be right in the middle of WWIII right now.

The man can go fuck himself for all I'm concerned. This is a man that should be marooned on a desert island somewhere.

6. What a pathetic turd
he is. If it was his daughter over there, I bet he'd be singing a different song.

These people have no ability to empathize. They only care if it concerns them directly.

7. The times have left Bolton behind, dating from his young adulthood,
more than likely.

He's on the hyper-fringe, rabid, drooling mindset of the Cold War era at its onset and can be judged in part by the company he kept in the Senate -- one Jesse Helms.

He's in the ridiculous and seditious position of being angry and resentful that two women were delivered back to freedom, and rather than celebrate the freedom they deserved to be back in, Bolton grumbles because Democrats handled the diplomacy and delivery with poise and expedition.

Shame on John Bolton.

8. Diplomacy is a foreign word to that man. Most people with brains are happy the women
were freed and that we used actual diplomacy to do it. I think he is jealous that we might actually have a breakthrough with NK when he could not get one by being "tough".

21. Bolton
Let's follow the history here:

Clinton has on-going negotiations with North Korea in an effort to stop their nuclear program. Not enough time left in his administration to get it done (just like Mid-East peace plan).

"W" get elected - declares that we ain't no pussy-footin' kiss'a$$ing diplomats - them North Koreans gotta' listen to what we tell 'em if they wanna' talk to us. Until then, they can just go and - er, well, build bombs................

"W" has run out of time to work his charm and Americans have the foresight to elect a president that can think and speak. Diplomacy is again a word that is heard in the nation's capital, and the President that knew how to use it enables 2 Americans to be released from North Korea.

So, where does Bolton fit in with this story? Guess you know that already, right?

27. These thug criminals must kick and scream...
...whenever a logical, compassionate and wise course of action is taken. It's their
attempt at destroying any alternatives to their sociopathic tactics.

If people see diplomacy working with wonderful results--then the neocons preferred options of
bombing, murdering, wars of choice--just might start looking ridiculous and barbaric.

Just like healthcare reform. They must demonize and scare everyone--because they know that government
healthcare would serve the people and be successful. They can't have the Democrats win...and spearhead
a successful solution to a problem. That would mean the Democrats were right and the Republicans
were screeching naysayers all along. So they tear humane and wonderful ideas down from the get go--and
the distort reality. This is all they've got.

Tear down, destroy, lie---in an effort to keep their sociopathic agenda going--and the lemmings who support
it, in full lockstep.

Ol' Yosemite has two major reasons for hating diplomacy:

1. It works.

2. We don't get to kill anyone.
