I just want to take a moment to say one damn thing about Obama

And that is DAMN I LIKE THIS PRESIDENT!

Many here know I rarely talk about politics and mostly focus on the economy. Honestly until recently I hadn't even reflected on Obama and what he has done so far. I took some time to do that the past few days, and all I can say is I really am very pleased. The republicans are clearly trying to do everything they can to frame everything he has done which has WORKED and been good for the common person as being a failure, but it is clearly BS.

Once the economy starts to pick up and people start having an easier time in life thanks to his efforts I hope people will see that. Sadly I think there are too many idiots out there that will listen to right wing MSM and believe the exact opposite.

But I just have to say he has done a great job so far IMO, and I actually do have hope for the future.

I will soon be joining my first labor union at my new job. (A union which Obama visited in 2008 and spoke at their annual meeting) I look forward to our union supporting him in 2012, and other democrats in the mid-terms for next years elections. I intend to be actively involved in that process.

1. Amen! Obama is the first president I enjoy watching and reading about.

After the last fiasco, anyone could take the podium and do a better job, but Obama shines. He's enjoying his position and has to have broken the record already for the amount of time he is visible. He's everywhere!

I am just so proud of him, Michele and the girls.
