as I fired off an e-mail to just about everyone on my list (don't care whose feathers I ruffle) about birthers, snuffers, and health care. One of the first replies was "uh oh, she's back."

I am also going to call a few members of congress before recess and maybe see if I can go meet stupid Kyl in person at his office to tell him the story of my small business going OUT of business due to high healthcare costs.

6. I just got my self un-friended by a number of my facebook pals due to a 25 or 30-part

rant I posted regarding this same shit. Too effing bad, although those who reacted that way might have been better impressed by a less manic and maniacal presentation and the others were the choir I was preaching to, it sure felt good to let it out.

Now I need to know what productive steps I can take that I haven't yet. I've done lots of calls, petitions, emails, and letters, but what's next? I'm, pathetically, too hot-headed or weepy to canvass (bipolar disorder, to be frank), have no money, and don't know what the heck I'm able to do.

I hate that it comes down to who has the most cashola to sell their position (lies), since it's obviously the rich, greedy bastards who don't want anything to change for the better.

I am a musician, as well as a programmer, and both of these jobs take a beating from piracy.

Kid asked what best program to archive MP3s automatically (if he had legally ripped from CD or downloaded them from a legal service, he would not need to do so).

What is sad is this: he is also a musician (fellow bass player) and a programmer (that's how we met).

People do things against their own interest all of the time.

. Email my senators and my rep (all "R"): done
. Follow up the B.S. cookie cutter email I got from Kyl and Flake (McCain never responds) with a phone call: next week before recess
. Engage in active discussion with proponents and opponents of the reform: in progress
. Email/call all my relatives to make sure they understand what the reform is about: in progress
. Call the local media to ask them to be fair in their coverage: in the future
. Call every number in these anti-reform ads that are going to pop up, email their Web sites: as soon as they start showing up

This is what we ALL can do.

As I said earlier, I have dual French-American citizenship, I have no shame to say if I need to, I will fly to France to get the care I need, if I cannot get it in the US.

I want to do this for my kids and their kids, it's as simple as that.
