Andy Rooney on Walter.
He said a very few words.
"I can't believe it."
"This is so hard."
And then..."Excuse me."
And he left the podium.

America's favorite cynic and world class curmudgeon.
And I mean that in the best way.
And Andy probably isn't too far behind Walter in shuffling off this mortal coil.

Two. Class. Acts.

1. Wow. He's rarely at a loss for words. But I can't blame him in this case.

2. it's too bad we don't have many people like them anymore
and these are the people who made the older days so great. and they were/are liberals.

Andy's wife died about 5 years ago and he said he doesn't mention her as much as he used to because it hurt too much.
