i long to hear the violent death rattle of the party of no as it's sucked into a black hole of irrelevance.

a public option will be passed, no matter how much the lobbyists spend, not matter how much the rethugs obstruct, no matter how much the blue dogs betray and pander to the right. no matter how many ignorant and innacurate commercials the insurance industry rolls out.

no matter what. this will happen. they know it. this is why they squirm.

and kick.

and bitch.

and snipe.

let them exert what little life they have left fighting the inevitable. we watched this show before. it was called the general election. they tried SOOOOO hard to sling mud. they let psychos make absurd statements and death threats against Obama at McSame/Dumbshit rallies. the media ran with the Ayers shit, and everything else they could conjur up. but it will not work this time, just as it didn't the first time.

the American people, who know they've been getting FUCKED with their health care will not let this fail. this supercedes R and D, blue and red, people are dying, going bankrupt, and tired of this bullshit that is our insurance industry.

the election knocked the rethugs down to 20-percenters. may this, and the many other pieces of legislation to come, be the nail in the coffin that seals the fate of the failed republican party for good.

1. The GOP's last chance to stop the reform is to insert poison pill amendments.
If they can succeed in crippling a public option by making it difficult to compete against private insurance companies, then they would walk away claiming victory even if it meant that the Republican Party literally ends up like the Whig Party and is replaced permanently by a new right wing party.

2. And America can be a one party state? That wouldn't work that well for the oigarchy I'm afraid. They
rely on the appearance of there being a Tweedle Dum, AND a Tweedle Dee.
