Ghouliani: I supported efforts to let Terri Schiavo have a chance to live
...Congress also approved, and President Bush signed, a measure allowing federal courts to review the Schindler family's lawsuit to prevent her euthanasia death.

While those efforts ultimately failed to save Terri's life, politicians on both sides of the aisle have been asked about their thoughts on those efforts.

Giuliani told reporters he supported those attempts to prevent the painful 13-day starvation and dehydration death that ultimately killed Terri.

"I thought it was appropriate to make every effort to give her a chance to stay alive," he said at the campaign stop.

5. Ask Bill Frist how that's working out for him
By all means, a little more Teri Schiavo is just what the campaign needs! Maybe mock Michael J. Fox while you're at it. And of course, by all means, shoot an old man in the face.

8. Flip-flop much as a Catholic?
First he comes out and claims that he supports tax-payer funded abortions, but now he was against Terri being allowed to die after her brain had liquified? Where are all the political Catholic bigwigs calling for Rudy to not be allowed communion - I mean if Kerry can be attacked for being pro-choice, can't a two-time divorced pro-choice republican feel a little heat? Yoo-hoo... Bill Donohue? Where are you?

10. Rudy cannot take Communion,
forget his Pro Choice stance. He is divorced and remarried. Re married is the key. The Catholic Church considers him still married to Donna Hanover and "living in sin" and committing "adultery" with Judy Nathan.

Personally, I could care less, but that is their stance.

11. What a great base! People whose protest blocked others from getting into see their dying loved ones.
Let's take a walk down memory lane, shall we?

These are Rudy's people? Yikes.

Silly man. He doesn't even know the first thing about pandering to the fundy freaks.

20. I like this direction for the Rudy '08 campaign...
"I supported the Confederacy against the tyranny of the North"

"I was on the side of the Washington Generals in their efforts to stay alive against the evil Globetrotters"

"I thought it was appropriate to make every effort to give Hello Larry a chance to stay alive. I love McLean Stevenson!"

23. Schiavo died a "painful" death?
That would be news to the medical community. See, if your brain is gone, you don't really have pain receptors. But what am I expecting, reasonable reporting from some outfit called lifenews? Now that's brain dead!
