There is so much clutter with posts about Edwards damn house that this has to be the worst time ever trying to jump over endless housing posts .

11. First day on DU

and I have to say that all of the threads about Edwards' house does seem a bit over the top, but I'm guessing (and hoping) that it is an anomoly, so I will hang around anyway. I lurked without posting for a while but it seems that my timing for actually signing up wasn't so great. Still, I'm looking forward to participating more once the house threads have run their course.

24. At Least I Had Sense Enough To Go To A Local Rally.... Came Home

and was looking forward to "D.C. chatter" and simply couldn't believe the CRAP!!!

Hopefully it will soon pass... seems like one big FART to me! There is only ONE Democratic candidate that I really would rather not vote for, but I seriously doubt I could actually rip a new A-hole for the person. I have always felt the Repukes were much better at trashing OUR candidates than we were.

But then, I'm just one of those Edwards supporters, so what would I KNOW?? And who knows, we only have close to two years to hash it out and he could REALLY do something horrible! It's truly disgusting that he's the only person with money who flaunts like he does! Geez, it's just too bad that he's so damn good looking and this Grandma Hippie just can't get past that smile!!!

Only for me, I do happen to thoroughly enjoy Elizabeth... wonder what my husband might say about that???

30. I almost quit the board today

and I've been here since 2001 I was so disgusted. I'm from Fresno and posted a report on the protest there. You can see the responses:

I also came back anxiously wanting to read of people's experiences in their protests in their hometowns along with what happened in D.C. Nothing.

I'm saddened as this year was VERY different than the protests in 2003. In my hometown of FRESNO, FUCKING, CALIFORNIA, we actually received positive responses from passersby. Here at DU? Nothing. Or maybe those threads disappeared within 15 minutes because there were so many "more important" threads like the one you mentioned.

I'm disappointed.
