I thought it was going HD today...What happened?

Looks like GE didn't pay the light bill :rofl:

The switch was supposed to have happened on June 30th, but I read that the satellite companies weren't able to provide the signal to customer until at least July 15th and this is also holding them back from going HD overall.

I'm already seeing some programs that appear to be produced in HD (their new graphics) and supposedly they should have all the bugs worked out shortly...their target has been to be HD by the fall.

Can't find anything positive after searching different boards.

Looks like Dish may have it soon - and who know about Direct. Perhaps it is on cable systems, but not on my Direct TV.

Anyone know otherwise?
