She's a quitter, which is fine if she couldn't handle the job, in fact it's the best thing to do. She criticized Hillary Clinton for 'whining' about some of the coverage she received. Hillary may have complained, but she didn't quit.

I don't think the Repubs can use the 'cut and run' talking point against Democrats anymore. Although we can never underestimate the stupidity of a party who chose this woman as their VP in the first place.

The lawyer did not say, nor did the FBI, that Todd was not under investigation. And, there were those emails showing that she tried to get the McCain campaign to lie about her husband's membership in the AIP. It's possible there are lots more embarrassing emails out there.

It's hard to believe that any elected official would step down so suddenly simply because they are getting some bad press. Most, even after far more embarrassing revelations fight to hold on to their positions. But if that really is the reason, how did she fool Alaskans into electing her in the first place?
