Is anyone watching CNN? Don Lemon is interviewing MJ's father Joe about his sons death and he (Joe Jackson) stopped Lemon to have one of his sleazy ass friends promote his fucking record company. Wow man, just wow. It's no wonder Michael was so fucked up. Joe is a douche bag.

1. I read an interview with a former Jacko nanny,
who said that Jacko's mother called her the day after he died, saying that she knew Michael always hid cash around the house, so where did the nanny think the cash was?

Nice folks.

They must be crapping themselves now that their money tree has fallen down..........................

2. The money tree had four hundred million in debt, too. Looks like there won't be much
left for the family once the creditors get through with the estate.

5. Death is a brilliant career move -
did you see the top-selling CDs at amazon.com? I think 22 of the top 25 were Jackson CDs of one iteration or another.

Like Elvis, he's going to be bigger in death than he ever was in life, if his executors get the right financial advisors, a la Priscilla Presley on behalf of her young daughter when Elvis croaked..........................

10. It worked for Ken Lay too....
Another "innocent" man (he was never sentenced, so his old lady got to keep the cash he had left).

heart attack on the Fourth of July?

I wonder.

How did Mrs. Lay's wealth survive the civil suits that ensued, do you know?

17. I didn't even know there were civil suits....! It's as if "Oh well, he's dead, move along now..."
Maybe they put him in a fedex box with a few blankets, some cheese-n-crackers, water bottles and an oxygen bottle, and sent his ass to Fiji???

Ya never know!

18. I can't believe
at least some of the screwed-over Enron employees didn't try going after her.

I am no conspiracy theorist, but that death just hit me wrong. Too slick. Too convenient. Too quickly over.

Naw, we'll never know..........

I picture that bald, smiling bastard in a lounge chair in the south pacific, working on his tan and living the high life.

6. I read somewhere
that the old man is running a school for would-be rappers - kids - in Las Vegas.

What sane parent would allow their child to go there? I mean, is there anyone in the world who doesn't know that Joe Jackson is a child abuser?

8. And that's the least of his disgusting behavior
one of the author's of a book done on MJ said that in the early days when the boys were performing in strip clubs, the father told MJ that there were white men in the audience with guns trained on them. He told him that in order to make MJ move and dance faster.

7. Joe Jackson really is an asshole
One of the most consistent narratives about MJ is how much he hated his father, whom he said abused him. If JJ had any shame, he'd be supporting his family instead of going to the BET awards with big blackout sunglasses and his scumbag friends.

9. I saw that and it makes all the bad things said
about him so more believable. His son has not even been buried yet and his Dad is trying to make money. Unreal that had to be one of the weirdest interviews I have ever saw. Also why show up and why come with your lawyer this guy is a real piece of work. I am now have a growing concern for those grand kids. I also have a feeling he is going to go way overboard with the funeral, he comes across as totally sleazy. I love how Sharpton and Rev. Jackson always show up like moths to a flame; I could really do without their two cents.

Don Lemon asked him how is his wife, Michael's mother, doing. Joe Jackson gave a quick "Fine," then brought the conversation back to him and looked for his attorney. Later Lemon asked how is Janet taking it and again he said "Fine" as if he couldn't be bothered talking about the women in the family. Then he brought up his partner to talk about the record company.

12. I saw what were reported to be some photos of the father, Jesse Jackson, and Jackson's son
supposedly taken shortly after MJ's death, where MJ's father seemed to be having a very good time - hardly a picture of the grief-stricken father.

24. I actually saw that photo - it was not even close to grief
Edited on Sun Jun-28-09 08:06 PM by DeschutesRiver
Rev. Jackson was smiling, the son not so much, and old Joe Jackson had an even bigger smile and looked really joyously happy. I kept thinking, well, I've been grief stricken before, and you don't cry 24/7; however, I couldn't imagine anything said/joked about/whatever that could make me look that happy within the first few days of a major loss in my life. He simply didn't even look like a guy who had shed a single tear over this. Like someone who was really tremendously enjoying himself at some get together with his friends. It was a very disturbing photo.

That man never loved his kid. Not ever. And yeah, that happens - I haven't spoken to my mom or dad in years, for good reasons and it is a blessing to not do so. Some people are birth givers; others are parents. Not all of us luck out and get "parents". Michael Jackson didn't, at least with respect to the father.

Joe Jackson is finally getting his fifteen minutes of fame and intends to use it. He'd packed a grudge against that kid since Michael cut him out when reached legal age and now it is his turn. The grandkids will go to his wife, and he has won the life lottery and got the best of his damned son finally.

27. He's like the exact opposite of most famous peoples' families in this situation
Most families come out and say something like "he/she was a star in the world, but for us we've lost a loved one and it hurts", stuff like that.

Not this peach. "we've lost the greatest superstar ever folks. come on, now. buy more records"

Jackass. :wtf:
