Nurses who have spent anytime working in a hospital have learned to despise Dilaudid. because it is the number one drug of choice for addicts who take/make their own cocktails of narcotics/sedatives/sleeping pills at home.
It ususally goes like this: when the person you are admitting (fresh from the ER) interrupts the nurse who is saying "hi, my name is XYZ and I'm your nurse today..." with "um I need Dilaudid NOW"...usually all the nurse gets out is "Hi.." before the Dilaudid request is made.

Guess it's just a matter of if one has the $$ to buy a doctor off so he/she will write the prescription...reportedly MJ owed a pharmacy $100,000 at one point. That's a shitload of drug$.

Hopefully the doctors who were writing for all these narcotics will have their DEA numbers (the # they need to write prescriptions for narcotics) investigated (and PULLED along with their licenses) to see what they wrote for and how often they wrote MJ rx's.
Wonder how many pharmacies were involved. Bet there will more than a couple being questioned for their records of MJ narcotic refills/new prescriptions...as well as doctor names.

10. I have had demerol and valium cocktail

for a medical procedure. Sure did feel good. Damn good. Euphoria and mellow combined...

I have read if you have just three-four doses of demerol over a 12-24 hour period you will be addicted, and I DO believe it. I underwent the procedure yearly for a while and after about 3 years they had to switch me to some other cocktail due to my BP was bottoming out pretty bad.

That one kid of Robert Kennedy's who is dead... Demerol addict -- it was David Kenneddy I think.
