1. I just heard her quoted by Christie Harvey this morning on our lib radio
Thanks so much for the video! I'm liking her attitude! She's concerned about her kids, her family. Sounds like in her mind, he's not in her family now.

3. she will be fine, further, she will thrive. that is how i see it. good for her.

often times, in a situation like this, at this age, once the motion has set forward and the woman walks, the man regrets. i use gender specific on this one. it seems a woman this age handles it so different from opposite gender, or the younger ages.

she will be fine, and more.... she will thrive

4. She has her hands full with four kids to raise. It looks like she's figured out
that he's no prize and she should get out (despite what she says about "believing in marriage" which I don't think for one minute she does).

I don't know why he just doesn't play out his little drama. Resign as governor and just go to Argentina and play house with Maria. He clearly doesn't care very much about his kids, and even less about his wife. Just walk away, Jose.

9. Nothing but rainy here it seems. I'm going to Martha's Vineyard in a week
and just hope the weather has improved. The catamaran I take from Quonset, Rhode Island to the Vineyard can be one helluva choppy ride in a nasty squall(they sell dramamine on the boat!). You should try the Vineyard if you are on Cape Cod again. It's a serene ferry from Woods Hole and the Vineyard is just beautiful...

6. How can he run the state of South Carolina when he can't even control his own woman?

By the way, she seems like a real class act in that interview.

8. Does anyone agree with me that she was behind some of the political theater here?
Maybe even released the emails?

Sanford looks like a nothing guy. She married him and tried to "fix" him and make him into the man she wanted him to be. (That was too much for the poor bastard, which is why I think he is imploding).

Then, not only does he have an affair, but it was with a woman he really had feelings for, not some hooker or some random stranger. She could have forgiven a hooker. She couldn't forgive being replaced. She "had done everything for this man and made him who he was" and now he was rejecting her as a person.

So, politically savvy and having run his campaigns in the past, she knows how to set the media ball rolling. Where IS the governor? No on knows! And then the incriminating emails....
