2. She has millions of constituents besides you, that's her problem.
The vast majority are probably in favor of a public option, but not single payer.

5. She won't commit to public option, at least the last time I called.
This means to me that she is testing the wind. She is hoping she can support a weak-assed bill and not have to vote no.

11. Well plez tell me if i am wrong. But if she won't even commit to a public option, I can't see
her supporting single payer. I hope I am wrong.

18. I am sorry for my confusion. I want everyone to push single payer as it is truly
the only right way. But if we have to settle, then a strong public option without trigger.

I can't get Sen Cantwell to commit to either.

3. She even did not send a represenative to healthcare forum
held in Tacoma on Tuesday, I guess she couldn't be bothered. She needs to be
thrown out in the primaries.

6. I hate to be such a killjoy
but I will expect Maria Cantwell to do the right thing when Hell freezes over. To say that she is a disappointment as a senator is an understatement. The only thing she understands is money. Unless those who are trying to get her to even take a look at single payer can show that her campaign contributions will take a significant hit, she's not even going to listen.

I'm so sorry, but I gave up on her when she refused to listen to the hundreds of thousands of us that tried to get her to vote "no" on Iraq. I keep hoping we can actually elect a Democrat the next time around.

13. I too would like to replace Sen Cantwell with someone in line with the public
and not the corporations. But we have no strategy to do such a thing. If you tell the Democratic Party at any level in the state that you want to run someone other than an incumbent, you will be laughed out of the state. We need an organization to replace Sen Cantwell that isn't part of the Democratic party.

17. Ditto
I will NOT be voting for her next election. I held my nose, got sick to my stomach and voted for her because of the 60 votes in the Senate nonsense. Our sixty votes have yielded NOTHING. So, I will not vote rethuglican but will withhold my vote for Cantwell. Never again. She is a corporate whore who cares nothing for the people of Washington.

14. "What's your zip code?" and "Thanks".
In fairness, I didn't ask what she thought, I only told them what I thought.

16. I always ask a question, like "Does the Sen support a public option?"
Answer is, she is not committed at this time.
