He did WJ this morning. He's doing Larry King tonight. He's on the Senate floor right now (and yesterday too) hollering about a health care plan not moving fast enough. Maybe he thinks he'll have a chance in 2012. Yathink?

1. In all seriousness, I think John McCain is in some stage of dementia.....
...... I'm not sure he'll be able to run in 2012.

2. You know how, in the old war movies, a dead guy would flap around like a fucking spaz before dying?
It's like that.

3. I don't think he could get the GOP nomination. They will go hard right in '12
The right wing has never been comfortable with McCain. They'll say he had his chance and go with some real nutty right winger.

5. He was grumping & growling yesterday at the HC Committee Meeting
too! Telling Dodd that the most important part of this HC debate is THE COST and since they didn't have the estimates from the Budget Office yet, the BS they're doing now is a "waste of time & window dressing!" What a grumpy old man!!!!

8. McCain: Joker's Wild

"Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it. You know, I just do things."

10. They are trying to find a spokesperson who connects with the public
Edited on Tue Jun-23-09 09:45 AM by OmahaBlueDog
They tried Jindal (although I really didn't think his speech was as bad as pundits made out, and he will get another chance)

They tried Joe the Plumber

They tried Newt

They tried Palin (I saw a Palin 2012 sticker on a truck yesterday)

Now they're trying McCain

11. His BBF is out there as well. Lindsey Graham has actually been acting ...
like a little tough guy. He accused the President of being timid. This from a man who could seize the moment, come out of the closet and change the face of the republican party.

He and McCain are joined at the hip so they must be working on something.

13. He is doing everything he can to appear relevant.
His ego took a huge blow in the election and he is all about ego. The man has very few in congress to call supporters or even friends and his time is fast running out. The legacy thing, ya know.
