Just heard this on the radio and apparently MSNBC said they are hearing rumors Tina Fey could appear as early as tonight or next week as Sarah Palin on Letterman's show,since the real Palin won't come on. If true, this could be more damaging than anything Sarah has said about Dave so far. DO NOT MESS WITH DAVE!

that he squashes her like a bug. He is capable of doing that - I think he has the skill set to make her untouchable in an election if he chose to frame the issue properly. He is the comedian, not Palin no matter how many funny things she says unintentionally. Comedians can be influential, even if the path they take isn't direct or convential as they go about pointing out the obvious.

The "keep Willow away from Letterman" deal will turn out to be the most unfortunate thing she has said to date - it is gonna bite her badly. Can't wait!

Didn't Dakota Fanning appear on Letterman several months ago, right before her 15th birthday? She was 14 then.

Dakota is more intelligent than the entire Palin family combined, and she managed to 'escape' the appearance unscathed.

I don't think the joke was stupid or sexist. It was funny. Her daughter, by speaking about abstinence and all that, and by supporting a fascist political candidate, deserves whatever she gets. As for the younger daughter, it didn't even involve her and Palin knows it. This is an attempt at self-victimization and she deserves to be mercilessly mocked.

That was my first thought - poor A-Rod and Eliot Spitzer - certainly neither wouldn't go near a Palin.

I thought the joke was in reference to the promiscuity of the Palins. It back-fired on Dave. I'm sure, like me, he didn't remember the other kids. Bristol is regularly in lime-light, and she and Todd are the only family members of Sarahs that I remember - that is, if I think about them.

When I heard that Sarah was all bent out of shape, I figured it was because she was pissed about Letterman 'dissing her beauty (or sex appeal) with the slutty make-up joke and Bloomingdales. I say this because she immediately retorted back that she never went to Bloomingdales during her visit!

That retort was odd to me, and I bet her new cause against Dave - insinuating Dave's a pedophile may have something to do with 'erasing' that ridiculous comment; and playing her brand of Americans against the un-Americans.

I also don't hear A-Rod, Spitzer complaining that Letterman made them look like pedophiles.

And if Sarah is going to take up the cause of young women, she should start with human trafficking and the sex trade.

Or, if she can now find the time to speak to the media, how about at least speaking about something of substance.

But that requires work, and I don't think she is sophisticated or smart enough. She's just a divisive opportunist.
