19. First ENRON now Big Oil
I am sure there is a reason Californians pay more but it sure is interesting that the same crowd Bush hangs with has California's number again. Fascinating!

5. Oh, please.
$3.27 a gallon for regular in California and STILL going up. Luckily the weather's been great in Central CA so I've been riding the city bus pretty much everywhere except grocery shopping.

11. Me, too. A tank of gas lasts me quite a while. If I were commuting
though, as I used to, I'd probably be screaming bloody murder.

16. $2.62 here "in Detroit's north suburbs" ... Royal Oak, to be specific.

I don't see anything as high as $2.85 anywhere. Even along Woodward, it's about $2.69.

On edit... Oh, I see. The Speedway at Woodward and 15 Mile in Birmingham is $2.85. Well, it's 20 cents higher than almost every station around.

18. I just filled up at $2.59, which is about 30 cents higher than the last fill.
Thanks for the heads up. I meant to fill up when I came back from the grocery, but forgot. You probably saved me 25 cents/gallon, as that was what the other stations in town were charging. Needless to say, there were long lines at the station I use.

Get ready for another record quarterly profit report from our friendly oil companies. With the new majority, I wonder if they'll be so quick to blow their own horn?
