Normally, I don't get into this shit, but I have a good friend with years of IT (computer) experience. Her company ended up folding so she's working for a company who has a contract with the Federal Government. She's working at a Federal agency, but her employer is the company, not the government. She's totally underemployed--she started out at the bottom, taking a shit job so she could put food on the table. She's been working with a lazy ass piece of shit that everyone KNOWS is a lazy ass piece of shit. He just got promoted over her, even though his experience could fit in a test tube. This piece of shit plays basketball with the young male boss, so maybe that's why he got promoted.

Usually, I figure bosses have reasons for who they hire, but this time it just doesn't fucking make any sense. My friend is gay, by the way. I'm wondering if that might be it.

Is there anybody out there with info or who can help my friend? All I can do is smash something, but that won't help anything. Even the job promotion would have been a job beneath her level of experience. She just wanted to be able to rent an apartment instead of living in a room in someone else's house.
