So does Thom Hartmann and Randi Rhodes and most other liberal radio hosts.

3. Pat Robertson's religion Corp
Has gold minds in Liberia. Usually the coins and stuff on the history channel come from there.

11. True. I do think gold or gold stocks have a place
if you own stocks and want to be diversified.

13. I like the upside potential for copper, better than gold right now.
When industrial demand picks up again, and it will, there will be a nice run-up.

China trying to garner control of Rio Tinto should be an indicator of what they are willing to do with their monetary reserves in order to control certain segments of the commodity market.

They failed, but they'll be back.

9. It's a great place to put your money.
If you want to weather the vagaries of the commodity market, and are willing to be able to sustain a loss in a down market when you might need to cash in...

You get the idea.

The only people making money off gold are the guys hawking it at ridiculous premiums to the gullible and unwary.

12. Really?

So those who bought in around $200 are really hurting right now. (Raises hand.)

One would not want to have ALL of your money in Gold, but then again one would not want it all in one place to begin with.

I guess i am a Republican sympathizer too, for owning Physical.

The only thing that pains me about the Gold Market is it's even more rigged and manipulated than the Stock Market.

But that's another 6 hour conversation. :)

I still think your statement is incorrect and too broad brush.
